Chukar Challenge - March 29, 2026

Calling all bird dog enthusiasts! Whether you've got a seasoned pointer or a young pup just starting out, come join us for a day of competition and camaraderie at the Rostraver Sportsmen’s and Conservation Association . Event Details When: Sunday, March 29, 2026 Where: 559 Cedar Creek Road, Rostraver, PA 15012 What: A variety of pointing and flushing divisions for all skill levels. Division Breakdown Singles Divisions (3 Birds / 15 Minutes) Singles Pointing: $75 (Limited to 44 entries) Singles Flushing: $75 (Limited to 25 entries) Puppy Divisions (Dogs 18 months or younger | 3 Birds / 15 Minutes) Puppy Pointing: $70 Puppy Flushing: $70 Doubles Divisions (2 Dogs & 2 Shooters | 6 Birds / 20 Minutes) Doubles Pointing: $150 Doubles Flushing: $150 Important Notes Awards: Ribbons will be awarded to the top 3 in each division field. 📣 Hunter-Trapper Education Course – March 14, 2026

The Pennsylvania Game Commission is offering a Hunter-Trapper Education course at Rostraver Sportsmen’s, 559 Cedar Creek Road, Belle Vernon, PA 15012 on Saturday, March 14, 2026, from 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM. This class is required by law for all first-time hunters and trappers before purchasing a license and includes a certification exam upon completion. PUBLIC RANGE DAY – March 7, 2026

📍 Rostraver Sportsmen Club & Conservation Association We’re opening our 100 yard range to the public! Join us on Saturday, March 7th, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM for a chance to enjoy an hour of range time. 💵 Donation: $5 per person (covers one hour of range use) ⏱ Additional Time: You may purchase additional time if lanes are available, but those waiting for their first session will receive priority. 🎯 Bring Your Own Equipment: No firearms or ammunition will be provided. 🦺 Safety Gear Required: All shooters and spectators must wear eye and ear protection at all times. 🚫 Safety First: All Club Range Rules must be followed. Trap Update

The trap range has been cleared and ready for use. Trap will open Tuesday February 3rd at 5pm. Come out and shoot a few rounds. The temps will be in the 30 degree area. Roger Beadling President RSCA
