Chukar Challenge - March 29, 2026

Calling all bird dog enthusiasts! Whether you've got a seasoned pointer or a young pup just starting out, come join us for a day of competition and camaraderie at the Rostraver Sportsmen’s and Conservation Association.

Event Details

  • When: Sunday, March 29, 2026

  • Where: 559 Cedar Creek Road, Rostraver, PA 15012

  • What: A variety of pointing and flushing divisions for all skill levels.

Division Breakdown

Singles Divisions (3 Birds / 15 Minutes)

  • Singles Pointing: $75 (Limited to 44 entries)

  • Singles Flushing: $75 (Limited to 25 entries)

Puppy Divisions (Dogs 18 months or younger | 3 Birds / 15 Minutes)

  • Puppy Pointing: $70

  • Puppy Flushing: $70

Doubles Divisions (2 Dogs & 2 Shooters | 6 Birds / 20 Minutes)

  • Doubles Pointing: $150

  • Doubles Flushing: $150

Important Notes

  • Awards: Ribbons will be awarded to the top 3 in each division field.

  • Scoring: All retrieves will be scored as partials.

  • Gear: E-collars are permitted.

Spaces are limited (especially for Singles!), so don't wait to get your spot.

Chukar Challenge – January 25, 2026

The Rostraver Sportsmen Club & Conservation Association will host a Chukar Challenge on Sunday, January 25, 2026 , at the club grounds located at 559 Cedar Creek Road, Rostraver, PA 15012 . This event features competitive field trials for both pointing and flushing dogs, including dedicated puppy divisions for dogs 18 months or younger . Each run consists of 3 birds in a 15-minute field , with ribbons awarded to the top three finishers in each division . PUBLIC RANGE DAY – November 15, 2025

PUBLIC RANGE DAY – November 15, 2025   Rostraver Sportsmen Club & Conservation Association We’re opening our 100 yard range to the public! Join us on  Saturday, November 15th, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM  for a chance to enjoy an hour of supervised range time.   Donation:  $5 per person (covers one hour of range use)   Bring Your Own Equipment:  No firearms or ammunition will be provided.   Safety Gear Required:  All shooters and spectators must wear eye and ear protection at all times.   Safety First: All firearms must be unloaded and actions open when not on the firing line. Obey all range officer instructions. Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Alcohol or drugs are strictly prohibited on club grounds.
